We have over 125 years in education
NMEC is a comprehensive team of highly qualified specialist and senior leaders from across the education sector who are expert in leading schools out of Special Measures. Between us, we have over 125 years in education, with 54 of these at senior leadership level.
We all have long established classroom based careers, culminating in externally recognised outstanding practice which we use as the foundation of our leadership model.
The team comprises headteachers, Ofsted inspectors, deputy headteachers and specialist SENCOs working in primary, secondary, special schools and EYFS settings who between them have been acknowledged as successfully creating and putting into action dedicated improvement plans for schools and individual subject areas. The team has been recognised by Ofsted for excellence in the classroom, with leadership work being described as exemplary.
The NMEC team has long established experience of working in all schools within the education sector, including academies and executive headship of federations. We have taught and led small, rural schools, inner city schools, primary, secondary, specialist, faith and independent schools.
The current education climate has presented schools, Local Authorities and Academy chains with a variety of challenges and opportunities in their pursuit of excellence. Our extensive working knowledge has ensured our success in leading pupils, parents and schools in navigating the ever-present changes.
We are experts in school improvement; raising standards, improving teaching, pupil behaviour, developing leadership and succession planning. As well as specialising in supporting schools deemed inadequate to move quickly out of category, we also support those seeking to consolidate their own good practice to reach outstanding results. We also work with clients during the initial stages and setting up of free schools.
